Cookie Dough Hummus

Chickpeas are a great source of protein. This yummy recipe can be used as a dip for apples or other fruits and veggies!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Drain garbanzo beans and save the liquid.
  • Blend garbanzo beans, peanut butter, and maple syrup in blender.
  • Add in 2 tablespoons leftover liquid (or until it reaches the desired consistency).
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
