<p>Above are the ingredients that can be used to make these bars. If you are vegan, you can use vegan chocolate chips. If you are gluten-free, you can use gluten-free oats! If you want to avoid sugar, you can use even less maple syrup and replace the chocolate chips with raisins!</p>

<p>In the video below, Ephraim, Ezekiel, and Eli will show you that the exact measurements are not that important. They taste delicious no matter what!</p>

<p>This recipe can be customized in an infinite number of ways. You can replace the egg whites with beaten eggs including the yolks. The bell pepper and spinach can be swapped out with other veggies such as asparagus, onions, mushrooms, or broccoli. You can use other types of cheeses besides cheddar, such as crumbled feta, or you can leave the cheese out entirely to make it dairy-free. Make these yummy egg bites just the way you want them! </p>

<p>Watch the video below to see Anthony, Ezequiel, and Maddox show you how quick and easy it is to throw this healthy recipe together!</p>

<p>This fun tortilla pizza recipe was shared by Evangeline (age 9).</p>

<p>Tortilla pizzas are easy to make. If your kids don&#8217;t like cheese or are allergic to cheese, you can do some without cheese. You can also use other toppings, but we just used pepperoni and olives. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients-1024x683.jpg" alt="tortilla pizza ingredients" class="wp-image-730" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients-300x200.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients-768x512.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients-640x427.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-ingredients.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>These are the ingredients we are going to use. You don&#8217;t have to use string cheese. We were just out of the big block of mozzarella. Oops?</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="751" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils-1024x751.jpg" alt="tortilla pizza tools" class="wp-image-732" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils-1024x751.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils-300x220.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils-768x563.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils-640x469.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/tortilla-pizza-utensils.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>These are the tools. You might also need a cutting board. We like to use a <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Boxed-Cheese-Grater-Black-Handle/dp/B089Q1XTKY/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">box grater</a>. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image">

<p>To start making tortilla pizzas, put tortilla on a cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 375 F. You don&#8217;t have to use both types of tortillas. Some people in our family like flour tortillas and some like corn.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce-1024x683.jpg" alt="spread sauce" class="wp-image-727" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce-300x200.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce-768x512.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce-640x427.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-on-the-sauce.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Then you spread the sauce. </p>

<p>Grate as much cheese as you need. Be careful of your fingers. Or your hands. Bwahahahahaha! </p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="806" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza-1024x806.jpg" alt="place cheese" class="wp-image-728" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza-1024x806.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza-300x236.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza-768x604.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza-640x503.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-the-cheese-on-the-tortilla-pizza.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Then sprinkle the cheese onto the tortillas.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-1024x1024.jpg" alt="photobombing dog" class="wp-image-725" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-300x300.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-150x150.jpg 150w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-768x768.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-640x640.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog-360x361.jpg 360w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/photobombing-dog.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Then cut the pepperoni in halves or fourths. Sorry about the photobombing dog! (But not really. &lt;whisper whisper&gt;)</p>
