<p>Above are the ingredients that can be used to make these bars. If you are vegan, you can use vegan chocolate chips. If you are gluten-free, you can use gluten-free oats! If you want to avoid sugar, you can use even less maple syrup and replace the chocolate chips with raisins!</p>

<p>In the video below, Ephraim, Ezekiel, and Eli will show you that the exact measurements are not that important. They taste delicious no matter what!</p>

<p>This simple granola bar recipe was shared by Evangeline (age 9). </p>

<p>Peanut butter pretzel granola bars are pretty easy to make, because there&#8217;s no cooking. So if a kid wants to help, you don&#8217;t have to say, &#8220;No! There&#8217;s cooking!&#8221; Peanut butter pretzel granola bars taste really good, because peanut butter and pretzels go well together. The pretzels add a nice crunch.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1000" height="607" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Ingredients.jpg" alt="Peanut Butter Pretzel Granola Bar Ingredients" class="wp-image-797" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Ingredients.jpg 1000w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Ingredients-300x182.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Ingredients-768x466.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Ingredients-640x388.jpg 640w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure></div>

<p>These are the ingredients. There are only 5 ingredients. If you&#8217;re allergic to chocolate or don&#8217;t want to use chocolate, you can do raisins or cranberries instead. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1000" height="860" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Supplies.jpg" alt="Peanut Butter Pretzel Granola Bar Supplies" class="wp-image-798" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Supplies.jpg 1000w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Supplies-300x258.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Supplies-768x660.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Peanut-Butter-Pretzel-Granola-Bar-Supplies-640x550.jpg 640w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p>These are the tools. If you don&#8217;t have a mixer, you can just use a spoon or your hands to stir.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="913" height="1024" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush-913x1024.jpg" alt="Put pretzels in ziploc bag and crush" class="wp-image-799" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush-913x1024.jpg 913w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush-268x300.jpg 268w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush-768x861.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush-640x717.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Put-Pretzels-in-Ziplock-Bag-and-Crush.jpg 1000w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 913px) 100vw, 913px" /></figure></div>

<p>The first step is to put a handful of pretzels in a ziploc bag and crush them. Flat pretzels work the best. When they are crushed so that it is not dust, but not just big huge chunks, so that it will add a nice crunch, that means it&#8217;s ready. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1000" height="702" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Keep-Crushing-Pretzels-Until-You-Have-About-Quarter-Cup.jpg" alt="quarter cup crushed pretzels" class="wp-image-800" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Keep-Crushing-Pretzels-Until-You-Have-About-Quarter-Cup.jpg 1000w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Keep-Crushing-Pretzels-Until-You-Have-About-Quarter-Cup-300x211.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Keep-Crushing-Pretzels-Until-You-Have-About-Quarter-Cup-768x539.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/Keep-Crushing-Pretzels-Until-You-Have-About-Quarter-Cup-640x449.jpg 640w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p>These are the ingredients we are going to use. You don&#8217;t have to use string cheese. We were just out of the big block of mozzarella. Oops?</p>

<p>These are the tools. You might also need a cutting board. We like to use a <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Boxed-Cheese-Grater-Black-Handle/dp/B089Q1XTKY/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">box grater</a>. </p>

<p>To start making tortilla pizzas, put tortilla on a cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 375 F. You don&#8217;t have to use both types of tortillas. Some people in our family like flour tortillas and some like corn.</p>

<p>Then cut the pepperoni in halves or fourths. Sorry about the photobombing dog! (But not really. &lt;whisper whisper&gt;)</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="818" src="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on-1024x818.jpg" alt="put additional toppings on" class="wp-image-726" srcset="https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on-1024x818.jpg 1024w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on-300x240.jpg 300w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on-768x614.jpg 768w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on-640x511.jpg 640w, https://villagekidskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/put-additional-toppings-on.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Put on any toppings you want. We just did pepperoni and olives. You could also do pineapple, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, bell pepper,&#8230;</p>
