Tortilla pizzas are easy to make. If your kids don’t like cheese or are allergic to cheese, you can do some without cheese. You can also use other toppings, but we just used pepperoni and olives.
These are the ingredients we are going to use. You don’t have to use string cheese. We were just out of the big block of mozzarella. Oops?
These are the tools. You might also need a cutting board. We like to use a box grater.
To start making tortilla pizzas, put tortilla on a cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 375 F. You don’t have to use both types of tortillas. Some people in our family like flour tortillas and some like corn.
Then you spread the sauce.
Grate as much cheese as you need. Be careful of your fingers. Or your hands. Bwahahahahaha!
Then sprinkle the cheese onto the tortillas.
Then cut the pepperoni in halves or fourths. Sorry about the photobombing dog! (But not really. <whisper whisper>)
Put on any toppings you want. We just did pepperoni and olives. You could also do pineapple, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, bell pepper,…
Put the tortilla pizzas in the oven for about 10 minutes. You will know they are ready when the cheese starts getting bubbly and the tortilla starts getting a little crispy.
When the tortilla pizzas are done, let them cool off before you eat them.
Cut them in fourths before you serve them. You can serve the pizzas with parmesan cheese and red chili flakes if you want!
